We can share with you some beautiful areas which do not require permits for smaller weddings. For groups over 30 we recommend you choose a site where there is ample parking & easy access for all of your guests including state beaches and city parks overlooking the Monterey Bay & the Pacific Ocean.

We call it

"Wedding Cove"

We do many weddings at this location which is a part of the Marine Wildlife Refuge in Pacific Grove. There are no permits required. It is just north of Asilomar State Beach. You won't find it on any maps or see it from the road.

Small groups only please, parking is limited.
   
   


State Beaches:
All overlooking the ocean in Carmel. They require a permit through State Historic Parks in Monterey. Small weddings $200. Larger with set-ups $400+ Contact Jeanie Sturges at (831) 649-7118 All sites require liability insurance which we can provide for small extra charge

The following locations are a few of our most popular wedding sites on the Monterey Peninsula. Let us know what you have in mind, and we can recommend a setting. 

Pacific Grove will reserve two hours for your wedding at Berwick Park, Lover's Point & Jewell Park. There is a permit charge in these three parks. $200.+ other fees for set ups.Pacific Grove Parks and Recreation Department (831) 648-5730.

 

 
         

Lover's Point Park
one of the area's most popular site for weddings

Many couples choose Lover's Point and its beautiful views for their weddings. Although it is a public park there is an area reserved for weddings for Up to 100 guests.

Berwick Park
bayside park with beautiful lawns and vistas. Permitted area is on the lawn and there are also cliffside areas for elopements. Up to 100 guests on the lawn

You can also use any beach inside Pebble Beach without a permit, once you have paid the gate fee. (currently $8.75 per car)
